Dr. Krystal Ribot
Developmentalist and Founder of Little Champs Play and Learn
Dr. Krystal Ribot is the owner and founder of Little Champs Play and Learn. Krystal obtained her PhD in Developmental Psychology, specializing in bilingual language development, from Florida Atlantic University. She worked for as a full time professor of psychology at Miami Dade College and adjunct professor at University of Maryland Global Campus, where she taught classes on Child Development, Lifespan Development, Positive Psychology, and Introduction to Psychology, among others. Her passion lies in early education, with an emphasis on school readiness and fitness. During the COVID-19 pandemic, Krystal created Little Champs Play and Learn in an effort to help families with small children have a place where their kids can play and learn in small groups with all safety precautions in place. Little Champs focuses on teaching preschoolers science, math, literacy, art, music, and fitness in a fun and friendly gymnastics environment. All activities are evidenced-based and focus on essential skills needed to build school readiness and fitness in a fun and friendly environment!
Dr. Ribot has published numerous journal articles in prestigious scientific journals, such as Child Development, The Journal of Pediatrics, and Developmental Psychology, among others. She brings to the table years of research and teaching experience and an immense passion for child development. Additionally, Krystal is a mother of two bright twin boys and a baby girl, who you will see throughout Little Champs playing, learning, and having fun!
